Our client is located in the South Island of New Zealand, the so-called Lakes area. This is the most beautiful and most photographed area in New Zealand offering the possibility for all kinds of hobbies: sports, mounting climbing, hiking, fishing, mounting skiing, and hunting. If you feel tough enough and have experience in metal fabricating in the colder climate, then this job is for you.
Our client is a well-established New Zealand engineering business operating out of a newly opened custom-built facility. They have a workshop area of over 900 sqm with a 5-ton gantry crane, being the largest well-equipped engineering workshop in the South Island.Structural Steel Fabrication & Site Erection is their core business.
Your duties may involve the following:
- Alloy/Stainless welding & fabrication
- Folding and guillotining, Rolling, Metal Work
- Architectural, Boat/Trailer repairs
- Machinery repairs & maintenance
- Certified Welding (ASME IX, AS/NZS 2980)
- Rigging and Crane Operations
Applicants need to demonstrate a minimum 5 years experience in welding/fabrication and good English communication skills.
For the chosen candidate the employer provides the following remuneration package: hourly rate from $22, 45 hours week.
Our Licensed Immigration Adviser will get you a work visa for 3 years.
